I first met you in history class. In the textbook of our country, the history of ancient China is divided into three aspects: the national system, the spiritual culture and the achievements of Chinese civilization. I vaguely remember some of the Chinese words in the textbook "world," "imperial examination system," "small," "big," "Silk Road," "four great inventions." China has vast territory and abundant products. What attracted me most was the Silk Road, and through which, the Han Dynasty sold silk, tea and porcelain to Western Asia to earn gold and silver. The ancient Silk Road matches perfectly with the modern Belt and Road Initiative, which is the main reason why I come to China to study economic management. There are also the four great inventions of ancient times, papermaking, printing, compass, gunpowder all come from China, these brilliance and civilization promoted the progress of history. China is a mysterious ancient civilization, just like a veiled girl, let you want to uncover her veil. The heart tickles, maybe that is the so-called love at first sight.

Passion is the best mentor and impetus, so I began to learn Chinese through self-study. A few months later, although I only learned some simple Chinese, I got the opportunity to study in China among many competitors. How excited I was that I finally have a close contact with you, what waiting for me must be a very romantic story. It turns out that the beginning of the story is not romantic at all, but constantly "brain burning." The reason is that the more you learn Chinese, the more you feel that your knowledge is limited and not enough. There are too many things to learn. Fortunately, there are painstaking Chinese teachers who have been encouraging me. Let me lay the foundation of Chinese steadfastly. From the beginning of writing Chinese characters like paintings, now I can use the vocabulary I have learned to express my ideas, which is really amazing. The process of learning Chinese in China at the beginning is like a brainstorming, constantly storing and turning, and making me more familiar with it. 

My major is economic management, so I am interested in economic news. Besides, I come from a country along Belt and Road Initiative. There were four great inventions in ancient China. Living in China today, we can enjoy the "new four great inventions" – high-speed railway, shared bicycles, Alipay and online shopping. I took a high-speed train to Xi'an, Luoyang, Wuhan, Taiyuan; I shuttle between dormitory, teaching buildings, canteens by shared bikes, and by the way to the supermarket to sweep the mobile phone to buy a carton of milk; and when I am lacking in something in life, I can order by clicking on the mobile phone, and the goods may reach in two days. How convenient it is here. These are the topics I often talk to my domestic friends on the internet. They all envy me and shout that I should be their tour guide. If they come to China, I will naturally say yes, because it seems to be my responsibility. I can't wait to introduce you to all my friends. 

The year of 2020 is so extraordinary that the COVID-19 pandemic spread around the world. When I first returned home, I was worried to death and paid daily attention to the growth number of patients from WeChat. I looked at the color on the map changed from shallow to deep, and then slowly from deep to shallow, which was the result of the efforts of the Chinese people. Even now I am thousands of miles away, but my heart will always be with you and cheer up for you. Because I fall in love you with you at the first sight, and I will go through with you till the end of my life. Now you and I just walked through the first sight, familiar, know each other, and a long way is waiting for us, even if sometimes a little "brain burning," but I would like to forge ahead with you for all my life.
